The country's energy systems have come under increased strikes in the past few days

A number of civilians were hurt while inhabitants in eastern districts were left without electricity and encountered problems to drinking water, per reports from municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was killed in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, according to regional authorities.

Russian forces has intensified strikes on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has requested "real steps" from partner nations to increase pressure on Russia.

Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and more than 30 rockets attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were working to fix the damage.

A wave of strikes damaged energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people wounded in the strikes on the capital have been transported for medical care, according to municipal representatives.

Area administrators said the urban area came under heavy assaults during nighttime hours. A seven-year-old child died and three other people were injured.

The assaults come after periods of aerial attacks in the territory, portions of which remain under the control of invading troops.

The entire country is under warning for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are harder to identify.

Authorities told reporters that Russia was deliberately attempting to destroy the national power system, with assaults already disrupting energy systems.

Officials stated utility staff and authorities were preparing for further attacks.
